DAY 1 DEPART USA

Depart in the afternoon on your transatlantic flight to Tel Aviv.

DAY 2 TEL AVIV - CARMEL - TIBERIAS

Arrive Tel Aviv Airport in the afternoon. We will meet our guide and make our way north to Mt. Carmel and the Chapel of Stella Mares (Star of the Sea), where we will celebrate Holy Mass. We arrive in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 TIBERIAS - CAPERNAUM - SEA OF GALILEE

This morning we begin with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We will visit a replica of a fishing boat from the time of Christ. Our visit continues to the Mt. of Beatitudes (Math. 5-6-7) to gain a panoramic vista of the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Tabgha (Mark 6: 36-45) where we celebrate Mass. Visit Heptagagon (Peter's Primacy), (John 21) followed by a visit to Capernaum, continue to Tel Hadar (Where Jesus fed 4000 people), (Mark 8: 1-21) Continue to the Jordan River to renew our baptismal vows, we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 TIBERIAS - NAZARETH - CANA - MT TABOR - TIBERIAS

We make our way to Cana, site of Jesus’ first miracle at the wedding feast, (John 2: 1-14) where we invite couples to renew their wedding vows. Proceed to Nazareth where we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation for Mass, then continue to St. Joseph's Workshop and Mary's Well. Our next stop is the site of the Transfiguration at Mt. Tabor,(Math. 17) (Psalms 89: 12) dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAY 5 TIBERIAS - SHEIKH HUSSEIN BRIDGE - JORDAN

Today we check out from our hotel and transfer to Sheikh Hussien Bridge, we cross to Jordan, we visit Mt. Nebo & Madaba dinner and overnight in Petra.

DAY 6 PETRA

We visit the Nabatean city of Petra, the Red Rock City, carved in colored sandstone and rediscovered in 1812. From the El Ji Post, we take an unforgettable journey as we continue on horseback, or walk through the famous Siq (natural gorge). We visit the Treasury, the Theater, Palace of Justice and other wonders. (Horses are included for our visit.) transfer back to Israel dinner and overnight

DAY 7 JERUSALEM: OLD CITY, MOUNT OF OLIVES, and MOUNT ZION

We begin today entering through Stephen's Gate, with a visit to the Church of St. Anne, marking the place of birth of the Blessed Mother, visiting as well as the nearby Pools of Bethesda, (John 5:1-13) We proceed to the Chapel of the Flagellation (where Our Lord was scourged), to the Ecce Homo Arch and Lithostrotos, celebrate Mass. Then we follow the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross), till the 14th Station at the Holy Sepulchre. After the Stations, we visit Mt. Scopus and the Mt. of Olives, where we gain a panoramic view of the old City of Jerusalem. We visit the place of the Ascension, Pater Noster (commemorating the "Our Father"), Dominus Flevit, (Luke 19: 41-45) (where Jesus wept over Jerusalem), and the Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane,(Math. 26: 35-57). We continue onto the Church of St. Peter in Gallicanctu (where Peter denied Christ), the House of Caiphas, the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady, and the Upper Room, commemorating the Last Supper, back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8 HOLY SEPULCHRE - BETHLEHEM - EIN KAREM - VISITATION

We begin this morning with Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Then we make our way to Bethlehem, visiting first Shepherds’ Field, followed by the Church of the Nativity, St. Jerome's Chapel, and St. Catherine's Church. We will allow extra time for shopping in Bethlehem. Returning, we stop in Ein Karem where we visit the Church of St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Visitation. The balance of the day is at leisure to browse in the local markets, back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9 JERUSALEM - JERICHO - QUMRAN - DEAD SEA & OLD CITY

This morning we stop in Jericho to view the Mt. of Temptations from a distance and to see the traditional Zaccheus site. This city was the site of Joshua’s first dramatic conquest. Next, visit Qumran, site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. We stop to view the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Then we stop in Bethany, site of the resurrection of Lazarus. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

DAY 10 JERUSALEM - FREE DAY

Today is a free day to enjoy and relax, and to revisit some of the sites on our own.

DAY 11 RETURN FLIGHT TO USA

Transfer to the airport to catch our overnight return flight home.
